If you have inserted a RAM stick in slot 4 and 1/2/3 it does not boot, and that stick works in slot 1/2/3 and you have inserted it properly it is perfectly possible.

The technical specs for that laptop show there is only one RAM Slot on the laptop, Dial does not indicate a second RAM Slot, that indicates your RAM is Dual Channel (chips on both sides of the Ram Stick.

Out of curiosity, I did this same thing with the laptop with a broken screen, and guess what - it also refuses to POST if it has any RAM stick in any of the under-keyboard RAM slots.
